Acer Palmatum Group: Variegated

 

The smallish leaves have five to seven lobes, each lobe a different shape, and each leaf a

different shape. The typical lobe is elongate-ovate, tapering to a sharp point. Edges are slightly and inconsistently toothed, while some are lightly notched. The lobes are sickle-shaped to varying degrees, depend-fused over all this, are markings of pink or rose colours. An open growing plant.
