Acer Palmatum Group: Dwarf - Red

This forms a neat small shrub with red palmatum five-lobed leaves. In spring the leaves emerge a bright pink-red and change later to a rich purple-red colour for the summer. This acer likes shade or sun and goes scarlet in the autumn. Ideal as a container plant.
